Are the things you do each day making you happy? If you go to work each day does the job you do put a smile on your face? I was listening to the radio last week and I heard a line from a man being interviewed and it really stuck with me to where every morning when I wake up since then I ask myself. The line was “If you wouldn’t do what you do for a job for free, should you really be doing it?” This is not always an option for everyone, but if it is an option in your life then you should think about it.
It really goes back to things like wishing, dreaming, and manifesting. This life we live is a really short one. I was talking to Melissa last night while watching our son play baseball about the importance of things such as this. I had a great weekend with my kids and lately I have been thinking a lot about quotes that matter to me and lines that I can live by. Another line I saw was “spending time with children is way more important then spending money on children”. What a great way to get our young ones started on the right path, by remembering that love and companionship has no monetary value and the fact that being around people that make you feel good and smile makes you forget all about the stressful things life has to offer us. None of us are broken, the pieces of us being happy are just sometimes scattered and we need to find them and pick them up and put the puzzle back together.
Deep down we all have issues and anger and things that hold us back from our goals and what we hope to feel and be. We have to grab a hammer and shatter the things that do not serve us. It is not a simple path and it sure is not an easy one but by being a group and a family we can all get there. Do you have fears? Do you have a family or friends in your life that roll thier eyes at you or say things like “what the hell?” when you tell them the beliefs that you have?
Well as another way of getting people together and helping us all to be on the same page and help us be one, I am putting together a new circle that will help you tap into intuition and happiness through working together, talking, helping, and coming together to overcome our fears. If you are an empath then we will help with that. As a team and friends we will find ways to bring smiles to our faces and bring support to us all that we may not have known was posssible. This is just another way to help us to make this short life better and happier for us all. I hope you will join me next tuesday for the support circle. It will be held on the 2nd and 4th tuesday of every month and admission is just five dollars. It will start at 7 p.m. and run until 8:30 p.m. It is always easier to do things or learn as a group or a team and with people who have your back. Come on out!!!
So here we are on another snowy Ohio day and I have had thoughts running through my head all day for this weeks blog. The idea I have decided on is since it is the first day of March is “marching toward the learning tree”. I believe that the tree of life symbol is very important but that there are many trees of life. The learning tree is one that is very important. The thought of a tree and learning is symbolic. The many branches are different ways of learning and the leaves different books that you can read. The bark is the thought of things that you layer on. This is an idea that I use in life and I am sure that you could all make it work for you as well.
We had a class with Carol on last Friday night and she taught things a little different than any class that I had ever taken. The other students really liked the teaching style and it was very awakening to them. They were getting things through mediumship that they had never gotten before. It was very neat to see people who have struggled with other teachers have such success with a different one. The class was called fun and games with mediumship and she will be offering it again in the future. Keep and eye on the calendar for the date for that. Just thinking of it as fun and games may be a good way for some to have more enjoyment and looking at it for a way of learning.
This could have been the teacher or the teaching style. It is really neat to see how each of us learn differently from different styles and different ways of teaching. We each have to take our time and explore different things to find our way in the metaphysical world. Some of us are clairvoyant which means that we can see things, clairsentience is the ability to feel the present, past or future physical and emotional states of others. This is the sense of feeling. Psychics use it in aura sensing and psychometry. Clairaudience is the sense of hearing, whether you get messages that you hear or anything like that. Claircognizance is the idea that you just know. You strictly use intuition with no other sense of knowing why. You just think and there it is you have the message you are looking for. Clairgustance is smelling. You get smells when you ask for message from spirit. One new way to get these things to open up when doing mediumship we learned was to put your recieving hand close to the floor. This is supposed to help ground you better. From the experience that myself and the other classmates had this worked really good.
The many different ways of learning are so various and you should never give up if you feel like your ability is shut down. You can use different stones to open up your third eye. There are many meditations that you can come and do that will help you with this. We have a circle for development at the store every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month to help you to develop your psychic abilities. The biggest thing when you are working with this is to remember the simple line of “I CAN DO IT!”. Having faith in yourself is not always the easiest thing in the world to do but with a little work and being persistent you will get there. This may not be an easy march to the finish line but with some work you will get there. We hope to see you at circle tomorrow night. Have a great week and thanks for reading the blog this week. -Ian
Happy Monday everyone! Thanks to everyone that came out and joined us at the store for the classes that we held over the weekend with Lovey on Friday and Elizabeth on Saturday. This week I am going to have a little chat with you guys about animals and what they do for us in our lives. For a great in detail class about animal guides and meeting them. Rev. Cynthia is going to be teaching this awesome class. She also does readings at the store on Tuesdays from 1 to 5 every week.
Every morning I look out the windows of our house and see the little creatures that most people think are just a stable of what we have in Ohio, the squirrel. If you don’t think about it, they are just another animal and no big deal. To me they are totally amazing. Watching the squirrels running up and down the trees, chasing each other, and building a huge supply of nuts and food. I am just in awe by looking at them.
There are alot of people around the Ohio area who say that they see hawks and it is kind of the same thing. For one person, they may say that the hawk is just a part of Ohio and no big deal. For others it is amazing and really speaks to them. These are thoughts that everyone has and it is crazy how cool it is for some but then nothing for others. There are nights where you have non stop dreams of different animals and you don’t understand why as well. Are these guides? What can they do to help you in every day life? These are all things that we could take a little extra time to think about when we wake up in the morning or take a time out to enjoy the beauty that our surroundings have to offer us.
When you are having a rough time in life and things seem like they are going nowhere for us, a little animal can really brighten your day. It is amazing how a little dog can be taken to a nursing home and have a healing effect on people, a cat purring can calm down the worst bout of depression. Animals can guide us whether in meditation or just every day life.
There are reasons for this and in the class this Friday night and we are really going to go right to the front of learning about this. Rev. Cynthia has done celebrations in the store for Yule as well as Dia de los muertos. She has many years of experience in the study of animal guides. We hope to see you at the store this Friday night for this amazing class which will put all of this into perspective for you. Friday night from 6 to 8 Rev. Cynthia teaches “Meet your Animal Guides” This class is $25 cash and will be a great time! We hope to see you there.
Have a great week and help someone and spread the power of healing anywhere it is needed!-Ian
