Goddess Elite began its journey 40 years ago, providing new age and metaphysical gifts and services to the Cleveland community. Since October 1, 2011, the store has been under the ownership of Melissa, a passionate book lover and former bookstore manager who embraced a full-time path of spiritual growth and healing after the closure of Borders. She is certified in Integrated Energy Therapy (8+ years), a Reiki Master (9+ years), and a pampa mesayoq and alto mesayoq in the Andean tradition of nature mysticism.
In August 2017, on the night of a solar eclipse, the store experienced a devastating fire that forced it to close for several months. Thankfully, no one was injured. Like fire often does, it ignited a renewed vision for the store. Our new logo—a goddess rising from the ashes—symbolizes this transformative journey. Upon rebuilding, we nearly doubled our floor space and expanded our offerings by over 2,000 products, creating a spacious 5,000 square feet of magical retail space.
