With a fruity, bright scent, our exclusive Brigid Goddess Candle is inspired by Brigid, an ancient, pre-Christian Celtic deity. Reiki-charged, each candle is made with love and intention!
Brigid is the Celtic goddess of fire and hearth, as well as a patron of warfare. She is associated with poetic arts, crafts, prophecy, and divination. She is a symbol of healing, protection, and fertility. Brigid protects women, children, homes, and cattle and prevents natural disasters. During her festival, Imbolc, a sun symbol is used to represent her powers. When Christianity was brought to Ireland, religious figures made Brigid a Saint in order to appeal to Irish pagans.
Soy wax. 8oz. Made with dried herbs and crystals. Never leave a lit candle unattended, especially around small children and pets! Trim wick to 1/4th inch before burning. Only burn on a level, fire resistant surface. Don’t burn for more than 4 hrs at a time.
