This wall plaque is inspired by the moon Goddess, a figure found in mythology from all over the globe. She often has three phases that correspond to the phases of the moon, as well as the biological ages of Womanhood: Maiden, Mother, and Crone. The moon controls the sea and women’s bodies, so it is very fitting that we perceive the moon as a goddess of brilliance and mystery.
Hand-painted and casted in durable polystone. Based on the original sculpture by artist Oberon Zell.
