Although this herb does not have the most pleasant fragrance, it has many, many uses. When in powdered form, which you can accomplish by grinding the root, it is used in protective sachets, placed in pillows to help with sleep, and hung around homes to protect from weather.
This root is also added to love sachets. When brought into a space, it is meant to calm quarrelling between couples. Can also be used to charm away evil.
Known by a variety of folk names, including: All-Heal, Amantilla, Garden Heliotrope, Set Well, Vandal Root, and St. George’s Herb.
